Nasrallah regrets Rafsanjani's demise

Hezbollah Secretary General, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah has regretted the demise of the Chairman of the Iranian Expediency Council, Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani.

Nasrallah in his condolence message called the late figure as great supporter, a kind father and a powerful backer of the Islamic resistance in Lebanon.

The Lebanese figure said Rafsanjani had hoisted the flag of the Palestinian issue as the central issue of the Muslim community and served as a solid activist against the Zionist project in the region.

“The Lebanese Hezbollah will never forget his supportive stance concerning the resistance,” he said.
