Qassam’s possible response to Zavari assassination

Senior Arab analyst abd al-Bari al-Atwan says the Hamas military wing will take revenge of the Israeli assassination of its member, Mohammad Zavari who was killed in Tunisia on Saturday.

The editor of Ray al-Youm daily noted that Hamas has yet to carry out any anti-Israeli operation outside the loccupied Palestine so as to avoid terror label however it may consider an operation in order to take revenge of the assassination.

Atwan said the Hamas military wing has already met any vows to attack Israel and has gained victory in any time it has sought to abduct an Israeli trooper.

Atwan then touched on the regional developments and said Israel was abusing the internal chaos in Muslim sates, adding that Israel would remain the enemy no 1 of the Arab states despite a trend of normalization between Israel and certain Arab governments.
