Palestine, most important issue in Muslim world

A senior Palestinian figure says Israel is the true enemy of all Muslims, adding the enemy will be defeated one day.

Chairman of Palestinian Council in Lebanon, Sheikh Mohammad Nimr Zaqmot was speaking at the opening ceremony of Islamic Unity Conference in Tehran on Dec. 15.

Zaqmot thanked Islamic Republic of Iran for providing various moral and material support to Palestinian people.

"Palestine is the most important issue in the world of Islam adding that we have always struggled for victory and will do so in the future," he added.

"We have taken major steps for liberation of Palestine and pray Allah that machinations by Zionists to be returned to themselves," he added.
