16 members of a Palestinian family have memorized Koran

A Palestinian extended family has some 16 individuals who have memorized the entire holy Koran, according to Palestinian Today website.

The al-Hams family lives in al-Jenineh east of the Rafah in the besieged Gaza.

The oldest boy, Wael Ahmad al-Hams could also complete a doctoral degree alongside memorizing the holy Koran.

He told the website that in his extended family, he has seven sisters and five brothers who could memorize the holy Koran alongside his wife and their son in law.
