Rivlin: India supports Israel

Israeli President Reuven Rivlin says India stands shoulder-to-shoulder with Israel in security issues in spite of New Delhi’s ties with Iran.

“They assure us that when the time will come they will never, never, ever let anyone” act against ‘the existence of Israel’, The Jerusalem Post quoted Rivlin as saying in India.

Rivlin is the second president in Israeli history to visit India.

“They know very well that we look at the intimidation coming from Iran as something that is substantial and strategic,” he said.
