Israeli army fires officer after deserting scene of operation

The Israeli army has fired an officer from the 401 armor unit after he deserted the scene of a Palestinian anti-occupation operation in fear, according to Palestinian Today website.
Israeli media say the officer was fired after details of an operation by Misbah abu Subeih in the occupied al-Quds (‘Jerusalem’) were made available, revealing that the officer had deserted the scene in fear of his life.
Misbah abu Subeih carroed out an anti-occupation operation on October 9 leaving 2 Israeli troopers dead and eight others wounded.
