Large marijuana farm owned by settler family discovered
Israeli police has found 1,600 marijuana plants in a field owned by Israeli settlers in the so-called ‘Moshav Hodaya’ region in the early hours of Sunday morning.
30 grams of heroine were also found.
The mother of the family who owned the field along with her eldest son were arrested.
An additional son, 16, has been detained, and the father and another suspect are still on the run.
The large field was hidden using bales of straw behind the farm and was surrounded by a concrete wall.
It is suspected that the family had grown marijuana in the field for years.
