Occupiers, true enemy of Palestinians

A Hamas leader says foreign intervention and certain internal disputes were to blame for the delay in the Palestinian local elections.

Khalil al-Hayya was speaking during an Eid al-Adha prayers ceremony, according to al-Resala Net.

Hayya said there was still an opportunity for the Palestinian groups to move towards national unity, adding the occupiers are the true enemy of the Palestinians.

The Hamas member said the current anti-occupation intifada must go ahead, adding the Palestinian nation assures continued intifada through its blood.

The Hamas leader also urged the Muslim community to get united in defense of the Palestinian nation.
