German teachers' union urges boycott of Israel
The teacher's union in the city of Oldenburg in Germany has published in its monthly newspaper a call for a total boycott of Israel.
The call came in a statement drawn up by teacher Christoph Glanz, outlining the goals of the anti-occupation Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement.
German publications are often wary of urging boycotts of Israel, according to Jerusalem Post. However, groups on the far-right and far-left have called for such a boycott.
