Arabs would rather follow Malaysia concerning Israel

Malaysian authorities have foregone an opportunity to host a FIFA congress over their adherence to the Palestinian issue, prompting a Palestinian daily to urge other regional states to follow the suit.

Malaysia withdrew from the hosting after it refused to give visas to Israeli representatives for the congress that was set to be held in Kuala Lumpur.

Malaysian deputy prime minister admitted that the country would rather relinquish the opportunity than being forced to give visas to the fabricated Israel.

He also cited a widespread sensitivity in Malaysia over Israeli actions in the occupied Palestine.

Palestinian Today website said the Malaysian measure was a great lesson for Arab authorities who have rushed for normalization with Israel.
