Corbyn aide: Some in office oppose creation of Israel

Harry Fletcher, who has been a key aide in Jeremy Corbyn’s office for the last year, has admitted that the leader’s team has had an anti-Israeli position.

Fletcher tells the Jewish Chronicle that Corbyn has a “deep-seated problem” with Israel.

“There’s certainly a view held by some people within his office that the state of Israel should never have been created,” he said.
