Palestinian Authority condemns shooting attack in Munich

The Palestinian Authority (PA) Saturday denounced a shooting attack in the German capital of Munich, which left nine people dead, including two children, and more than a dozen wounded on Friday, as Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah expressed “deep pain over the bloodshed.”
Spokesman of the PA Youssef al-Mahmoud said in a statement that Hamdallah and cabinet ministers expressed their “deep pain over the bloodshed” in Germany, calling the country “a friend” to Palestine.
The prime minister added that the attacks against innocent people necessitated serious work in order to dissipate hatred and reject violence, while working toward strengthening principles of peace, justice, and equality in countries around the world.
