Cornerstone laid for Palestinian embassy in Sudan

Acting PA heads Mahmoud Abbas laid the cornerstone for the Palestinian embassy in the Sudanese capital of Khartoum during a ceremony on Wednesday, according to the PA-owned news agency WAFA.
Numerous Sudanese officials attended the ceremony, according to WAFA, including the PA Minister of Foreign Affairs Riyad al-Malki, Chief Justice of Palestine and the Minister of Religious Affairs Mahmoud al-Habbas, in addition to several other government officials and Palestinians residing in Sudan.
Palestine currently has national embassies in 13 African countries, according to WAFA.
