Conference held in Lebanon in support of resistance

A conference was held in Lebanon in support of the regional anti-occupation resistance and to renounce the labeling of the resistance as terrorist.

The conference also marked the anniversary of the Israeli invasion of southern Lebanon.

Attended by over 300 personalities from Arab and Islamic countries, the conference issued a strong support for the regional resistance against Israel.

In a final statement, the conference upheld various forms of anti-occupation resistance and renounced certain conspiracies by some Arab governments and unofficial Arab associations.

The statement also called for countering sectarian and religious schism as well as Takfiri and Israeli scourge in Syria and other regional governments.
