Renowned singer cancels Israel concert
Grammy award-winning American musician Pharrell Williams has bowed out of his July 21 in Israel.
Promoters for the show released a statement saying that scheduling conflicts were behind the cancellation and that Williams hoped to reschedule the show in the future and apologize to all local fans.
The show had been heavily publicized, with posters appearing on most Tel Aviv corners in recent weeks.
The cancelation came amid a raft of similar measures by artists who are against the Israeli aggression in the occupied Palestinian territoriers.
