Israeli security officials fear more ops may come

In the wake of an anti-occupation operation in al-Khalil that left an occupier dead and three more injured, certain military circles in Israel have warned that armed Palestinians who carried out the operation may still be in the area.

Shin Bet officers have also warned about deterioration of security situation in the area amid the operations that took place on the eve of the international solidarity day of Quds rallies across the Muslim community.

Israeli security officials fear that Palestinians would embark on more operations in the days to come.

The entire city of al-Khalil (‘Hebron’) was placed under a general closure on Friday following the operations.
