Palestinian figure blasts PA arrest of resistance leaders

A leader of a Palestinian anti-occupation movement has denounced the PA arrest of anti-Israeli resistance commanders as a blot on the PA’s records.

Islamic Jihad leader, Ahmad Modallal was speaking to the Palestinian daily al-Resala.

Modallal described the arresting campaign as a blow to the Palestinian intifada and the nation, adding the campaign only serves Israel that has failed to stop the extending anti-occupation intifada.

His remarks came after Ahmad Nasr another leader of the anti-occupation movement was arrested west of the occupied Ramallah.

Several others from Hamas too have been arrested recently.
