Israeli forces retreat from east of Gaza

Israeli forces have retreated from east of Gaza amid threats of reprisal by the Palestinian resistance groups following the Israeli aerial and artillery attacks against the besieged enclave.

The Ezzedine Qassam Brigades, the military wing of resistance movement Hamas, warned the Israeli regime to stop the attacks.

Similarly, Islamic Jihad released a statement warning Tel Aviv against any escalation.

Israeli military’s artillery targeted a checkpoint belonging to al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of Palestinian Islamic Jihad resistance movement, in the eastern part of the southern Gaza city of Rafah.

There has been no immediate report on possible casualties.

Meanwhile, Israeli sources said three rockets fired from Gaza have targeted the regime’s armored vehicles stationed east of Gaza’s Rafah border city.
