Another house faces demolition in Silwan district

PIC reported:

 The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) on Saturday morning notified a Palestinian citizen of its intention to demolish his home in Silwan district, south of the Aqsa Mosque in the occupied al-Quds ('Jerusalem'), at the pretext of unlicensed construction.

The house is located in al-Bustan neighborhood in Silwan and belongs to Yasin al-Rajbi.

The wife of Rajbi said that the IOA had already issued several demolition orders against her house, stressing that the family would stay steadfast in the house and would resist its demolition.

An Israeli municipal crew on Friday delivered demolition notices against a house and a car wash in the same district.

Israel carries out systematic demolition campaigns in Palestinian neighborhoods in the occupoied city with the aim of forcing the native residents to leave the city and bringing 'Jews' to live in their homes and areas.
