Intifada has entered armed stage

Deputy Hamas political bureau chief, Ismail Haniya says the current anti-occupation intifada has already entered an armed stage with Palestinian activists now applying armed methods to counter the occupiers.

The Palestinian figure made the remarks in a ceremony in the besieged Gaza that was held under the banner of “our uprising for ‘Quds’,” the city that is currently occupied by Israel and renamed ‘Jerusalem’ in Hebrew.

Haniya said the current uprising aims to destroy the occupiers and push them out of Palestine.

The Palestinian figure underlined Hamas’ commitment to Palestinian national unity, adding the resistance movement would pursue the goal also through intifada.
