Most Palestinians support anti-occupation intifada

Nearly 60 percent of Palestinians support the ongoing anti-occupation activism, according to a public opinion poll published on Sunday.

 

The proportion of those who favor the continuation of the attacks was highest in the besieged Gaza Strip (75%), while in the occupied West Bank only about half (51%) do so.

 

The poll, conducted by the 'Jerusalem' Media and Communication Center, covered some 1,200 Palestinians from the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

 

It was conducted in the first week of March and has a margin of error of 3 percentage points.
