Israel implores PA after Sunday attack by security personnel

Israeli 'defense' Minister Moshe Ya’alon said Monday has discussed with the PA authorities the Sunday attack by a PA security officer in the occupied West Bank.
“The issue was raised overnight in a meeting between our security officials and Palestinian security officials,” he told Israel Radio.
“First of all, they’re distancing themselves from this,” he quoted the PA sources as saying.
“But we are certainly demanding explanations and oversight of the employees of various security services,” he said as frustration grips the Israeli security bodies following the unprecedented attack.
Ya’alon claimed that, on average, Palestinian security forces succeeded in foiling 20 percent of planned anti-occupation attacks.
