Crisis in Israel as alcohol use surge among minors

Gregorian New Year’s Eve is an especially busy time for Israeli police and rescue services and this year was no exception, Times of Israel admitted.

Magen David Adom said Friday it had cared for 461 Israelis overnight, including 63 minors who required medical attention after consuming large quantities of alcohol.

Three of the minors were just 14 years old.

Also a 26-year-old woman was found unconscious and without a pulse following a party in central Tel Aviv.
