Palestinian activist rams car into occupiers

A young Palestinian activist was shot dead after ramming his car into a group of Israeli occupiers west of occupied al-Quds ('Jerusalem') on Monday afternoon.

The 0404 Hebrew website said that the youth rammed his car into the settlers and was planning to carry out a stabbing attack near the central bus station west of Quds.

The Israeli TV Channel 10 reported that 12 settlers were wounded in the attack; three of them sustained serious wounds while three others suffered moderate injuries.

The Israeli police spokeswoman Luba al-Sumari said in a press release that the youth drove his car into the settlers waiting at the bus station and when he tried to get out of his car and stab others he was shot by a security officer and two settlers.

Hebrew media identified the young man as 21-year-old Abdulmohsen Hassouna from Beit Hanina.
