Palestinians open fire at military checkpoint

Palestinian resistance fighters on Sunday night opened fire at an Israeli military checkpoint, south of the occupied al-Khalil city.

Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that the Israeli checkpoint in Sadat al-Fahs area, south of al-Khalil, came under gunfire attack last night.

The Israeli army subsequently sent reinforcements to the area and launched a manhunt for the attackers.

The same sources reported that an Israeli helicopter participated in the search campaign, while a large number of soldiers were combing nearby agricultural fields.
