Zionist troops raid home of Palestinian teen martyred in Tulkarem

Palestinian security sources told Ma'an that Zionist troops broke into the home of Maram Hassouna in Rafidia and interrogated her family.

The Zionist troops reportedly tore up pictures of the slain teenager during the raid.
Clashes broke out in the town between Palestinian youth and Israeli military forces following the incursion.

Hassouna was shot and killed by an Israeli military officer on Tuesday after allegedly attempting to stab him at a checkpoint near the illegal settlement of Enav east of Tulkarem.

The Zionist officer was not injured during the encounter.

The family said that she had spent a year in Israeli custody after she was charged with attempting to stab an Israeli soldier at the same checkpoint near Enav settlement two years ago.

More than 100 Palestinians have been killed by Israelis since the beginning of October, more than a quarter of whom were children.
