Massive wave of arrests to hit occupied Quds
Israeli police are planning for the arrest of "hundreds" of Palestinians residing in the eastern part of the occupied al-Quds ('Jerusalem') suspected of taking part in the recent anti-Israeli protests, announced acting Police Chief Bentzi Sau late Tuesday morning.
Sau also said six teams of special investigators would soon be sent to the occupied city to work with the Israeli spy agency, Shin Bet and other security officials in continuing efforts to bring an end to the protests.
Some 480 residents of the area have already been arrested during the recent protests.
