Liberman: lack of security, a reality in Israel
Firebrand Israeli politician Avigdor Liberman who pursues the post of premiership placed the blame on Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu for a recent rocket attack on Sderot pon Friday evening.
The rocket, fired from Gaza shortly before 9:00 p.m., exploded near a home in the city, causing damage to the home and a parked bus, but no physical injuries.
In response, Liberman admitted on Facebook that there was "no deterrence against terror" in the occupied al-Quds ('Jerusalem').
"The re is no deterrence against the rockets from Gaza, there is no security for Israelis, there is no Prime Minister in Israel!" he added.
Opposition leader Yitzhak Herzog responded to the rocket attack as well, calling on the government to start taking action to restore security to Israelis.
"The lack of security of Israeli citizens is a serious reality which we must not accept,” said Herzog.
