River to Sea cause still reverberating

A Palestinian analyst says the idea of reinstating a Palestinian state from ‘the River’ (Jordan River) to ‘the Sea’ (Mediterranean Sea) is still reverberating across the Palestinian community despite a gamut of Israeli aggressions and atrocities befalling the nation.
Naser al-Leham wrote in a paper that two years ago, the then Israeli President Shimon Peres said Israel preferred to act as a lion in the fleece of sheep however the developments afterwards in Palestine and the rest of the region shows it is no more powerful and formidable as lion despite its all aggressions against the Palestinian nation.
“The Palestinian nation has survived three large, brutal wars against Gaza and the incessant pressures against West Bank; the power has been rotted in the nation,” he said.
The author touched on the breaking apart of several governments and states in the region and the world, adding that the Palestinian nation is still shining.
The author then touched on the nation’s cause of liberating the entire historical Palestine. “I walk in the streets of Ramallah, Quds, Beit Lahm, Jenin, Nablus, Gaza and other Palestinian cities, watching the nan still adhering to the cause of ‘Palestine from River to Sea.’”
