Hamas would never retreat from Palestinian cause

Deputy of Hamas political bureau chief, Ismail Haniya has reaffirmed in an Eid ul-Fitr prayers’ sermon that the Palestinian resistance groups are advancing more than before, adding the Hamas movement has already turned into a major player in the region.
Haniya said no progress would take place in the prisoner exchange talks unless all Palestinians who were once freed under the Wafa al-Ahrar deal and then detained again by Israel are freed eventually.
The Palestinian official thanked the international activists who embarked on the Freedom Flotilla 3 campaign to bust the Israeli blockade on Gaza.
Haniya urged for a strategic unity in the Muslim community in favor of the Palestinian issue and the al-Aqsa mosque.
The Hamas official said the movement would never recognize Israel adding Palestinains would not give up even an iota of their historical land.
“Anyone who perceives Hamas would retreat one day is totally wrong,” he said.
The Eid ul-Fitr prayers were held Saturday in the presence of thousands of Gazans east of the besieged enclave.
