Israel ties, cordial again under Sisi

Egyptian general-turned-president, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi appointed his first ambassador to Israel, a first since 2012, on Sunday, signalling improving ties with the Zionist regime with both branding the Palestinian resistance group Hamas as a threat.
Ousted president Mohamed Morsi who was democratically elected recalled Cairo's ambassador to Israel in November 2012 over an Israeli attack that killed Hamas's military commander.
Egyptian courts under Sisi have declared Hamas as terrorist although the ruling was reversed in June.
