Israeli party leader blasts Netanyahu's incentives

Chairwoman of the Israeli Meretz party Zeheva Galon expressed her angry disapproval of the coalition accord between the Likud and Jewish Home parties, according to which illegal homes and neighborhoods in the occupied West Bank will receive legal status.

"This government is going to invest its vigor and resources in continuing the takeover and dispossession of Palestinian lands,” Galon said.

"All this with the clear aim of placing more and more explosive charges in a future accord.”

"So what if, along the way, they deepen the international isolation that Israel is in? The main thing is that the frinds in the settler lobby will be pleased,” she went on.
