French activists on hunger strike in support of Gaza

A group of French activists have been on open-ended hunger strike since February 10 in solidarity with the besieged Gaza Strip.

The French hunger strikers protest in particular against Israel's confiscation of an aid shipment sent by a French organization to Gaza two months ago.

The Israeli authorities still refuses to release the humanitarian aid shipment despite French and Palestinian diplomatic efforts to allow its access to Gaza.

PA ambassador to France Ha'el al-Fahoum met with the hunger strikers and expressed his appreciation to them for endangering their lives in defense of the Palestinian cause and Gaza, according to PIC.
