Palestinian committee to oversee ICC cases

A Palestinian committee will be formed to oversee criminal cases to be lodge with the International Criminal Court against the Zionist regime, Qods News Agency reports.
The orders to form the committee were issued by the PA Head, Mahmoud Abbas on Sunday, according to the Wafa news agency.
The Palestinian Authority formally joined the ICC last month in a move that will enable it to submit war crimes and crimes against humanity complaints against Israel.
The new committee will be headed by Saeb Erakat and include various figures from the Palestinian political scene, universities and human rights organizations.
The committee "will identify and prepare the documents and records that the state of Palestine will present to the ICC," the agency said.
