Hamas: US istatement is insolent

Hamas Spokesman Sami abu Zuhri has denounced the US State Department for renewing its self-styled designation of the resistance movement as terrorist.

Abu Zuhri made the remarks in a statement, calling the designation insolent and racially motivated.

Zuhri said the US designation provides further proofs to call the US government as the largest enemy of the Palestinian nation.

US State Department Spokeswoman Jenifer Psaki said on Thursday that the US position on the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement has not changed and that the US government still considers the movement as terrorist.
