Netanyahu banned from Likud race

The Israeli Likud party comptroller on Wednesday has issued a non-binding ruling banning Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from running in the party primaries on December 31.

It remains unclear however whether Netanyahu would abide by the decision.
