Palestinian stone throwers face 10 years in jail

Zionist Regime’s Ministerial Committee for Legislation and the Knesset (parliament)
approves draft bill to hand out tougher penalties to stone throwers after months of clashes in east al-Quds.

Zionist regime has approved a law change allowing harsher jail sentences of up to 10 years for stone throwers after tensions erupted again in al-Quds Old City.

The move comes after months of rioting in east al-Quds where Palestinian residents in retaliation move against Zionist regime’s crimes, have thrown rocks and fire bombs at police, cars, buses and trains.

The bill was approved by the Israeli cabinet on last month as part of what the regime calls a change to Israel’s penalty code.
Currently, such moves have a maximum penalty of two years in prison.
