10 to 20 years in prison for throwing stones

Israeli cabinet has formulated a draft bill under which Palestinian stone throwers would be punished by 10 to 20 years in prison.
Maan quoted the Israeli Hebrew radio that Zionist lawyers have offered the prison term for stone throwers.
Meanwhile, Israeli police have detained more than 100 Palestinians in the eastern side of the occupied al-Quds ('Jerusalem') since July for throwing stones.
In a statement, the police said that more than 100 Palestinians had been arrested since July – when a Palestinian teenager was murdered by suspected Jewish settlers – for pelting passing trains with rocks.
