Israeli diplomat thanks Sisi for his pro-Israeli remarks

An Israeli diplomat has thanked the Egyptian President, Abd al-Fattah al-Sisi for his pro-Israeli stances.

In the letter, carried by the Yedioth Ahronoth, the former member of the Israeli embassy staff in Cairo (2003-7) has cited Sisi’s remarks in a Gaza reconstruction conference and his opposition to Hamas.

“We support you and pray for more improvement of Tel Aviv-Cairo relations,” Landa has said.
