Genuine Islam feature anti-Israeli struggle

A senior Iranian activist in cultural affairs says genuine Islam is characterized by the struggle against the Zionist regime.

Head of the Islamic Revolution Cultural Studies Office, Vahid Jalili was speaking to Qudsna in Tehran.

The senior cultural activist said the emergence of the terrorist ISIL and al-Nusra currents has put the spotlight on internal Muslim differences and sidelined the once-in-vogue struggle against the global Zionism.

Jalili said a US promoted version of Islam lacks the element of anti-Zionism struggle, adding that the terrorist pseudo-Muslim groups have helped promote the skewed version.

The cultural activist said the terror groups actually serve the Zionist regime’s interests, adding however that the groups will be soon exposed among Muslims.
