We'll continue to build arms of resistance

Deputy Hamas political bureau chief, Ismail Haniya said the Hamas movement will keep up its campaign for developing arms and enhancing the ranks of resistance groups in Gaza.

The senior Palestinian authority made the remarks in an Eid al-Adha prayer speech in Gaza.

The former prime minister said the path of resistance will remain in place until the entire land of Palestine is freed.

Haniya said the Palestinian resistance will never allow anyone to remove or make compromise over the arms of resistance, adding that the Hamas power would only be used against the Zionist regime.

The former prime minister also urged the PA to respect the national reconciliation agreements mutually agreed between the two sides, adding Hamas has a strategic decision to continue the path of national reconciliation.

The senior authority also called for the accession of Palestine to the Rome Convention, adding that the Palestinian government will not abandon its efforts to sue Israel in international bodies over its criminal record in Gaza.

Haniya said the Gaza victory over the Israel army proved that the anti-Israel conflict is the foremost issue in the world of Islam rather than sectarian or religious conflicts among Muslim nations.

Haniya called for unity among Arab and Islamic nations, adding that Muslim nations must prevent their differences to overshadow the struggle against the Zionist regime.
