Western conduct towards Israel is hypocrisy

German analyst and journalist, Manuel Ochsenreiter says though useful, the Boycott, Divestment and Sanction movement against Israel is not enough, adding the western pro-Palestinian groups must further focus on the Palestinian right to decide on their own fate.

The analyst was speaking to Qudsna on the sidelines of an international conference in Tehran on the role of the global Zionism in expanding terrorism worldwide.

Ochsenreiter also urged the anti-Israeli groups to focus on the Israeli refusal to accede to the Non-proliferation Treaty.

The analyst said it was a clear double talk that the western governments act against the peaceful Iranian nuclear program while they allow Israel to go unfettered in its military nuclear program.

"We have already been accustomed to the double talk," the analyst said, adding that while the Middle East is plagued with security problems, the western countries are plagued with moral crises.

The conference started work in Tehran in the presence of a group of independent film makers and intellectuals from across the world to review the role of the world Zionism in the Middle East crises.

Titled 'Ofogh No' (new horizon), the conference broached such topics as the similarities between Zionism and Nazism, the US and Zionist criminal records in the world, Hollywood and Israel lobby in the US, the role of Zionism in dividing Muslims and the emergence of the ISIL terror group.
