Abbas signalled his weak stand
A senior Iranian expert in Middle East affairs says the PA Head Mahmoud Abbas’ remarks in the UNGA meeting signaled he was suffering a weakened position among the Palestinians.
Sa’adollah Zare’i told Qudsna however that one must thank Abbas for adopting a clear and firm stance against the Zionist regime.
Zare’i said Abbas was almost sidelined following the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza for he failed to play an active role in the war.
The analyst said Mahmoud Abbas actually made a shift of position in the UNGA meeting.
