Oslo accord buried under Gaza tunnels

A Palestinian analyst says the 1993 Oslo Agreement that has a solid call for the disarmament of the Palestinian resistance was actually buried in the Gaza tunnels.
Fayez Abu Shemala wrote in Paltoday that there is no more effective option that the armed resistance for the Palestinian nation, adding that the Palestinian resistance has turned into a source of pride for the nation.
The analyst said the Palestinian resistance buried all the articles of the Oslo Agreement under the Gaza tunnels, adding that it was not surprising that Israel urges reinstating of the agreement as part of its demands in the Cairo talks with the Palestinian delegation.
The analyst reckoned that any Palestinian individual or party that considers the Oslo Agreement as a political reference for regulating the nation's ties with Zionists is actually on Israel side.
Abu Shemala said the Palestinian issue following the war on Gaza was a completely different issue, adding that the Palestinian delegation was facing difficult talks in Cairo. "The delegation either must agree the Oslo accord and as a follow-up concede to the resistance disarmament or push for a new agreement that could be also applicable to the West Bank," he wrote.
The analyst said the talks would be nothing more than waste of time if the Palestinian negotiators including from Fatah and Hamas fail to unite their position concerning the Oslo Agreement.
