Palestine issue could create unity among Muslims

IRI Parliament Speaker Ali larijani said here on Tuesday that the Palestine issue and defending the innocent Palestinians against the Zionist regime’s invasions and atrocities could create unity among Muslims.

Larijani made the remarks in a Majlis open session this morning held in the presence of Palestinian Ambassador to Tehran Salah Zawawi as well as the representatives of Hamas and the Islamic Jihad Movement in Iran.

Today’s Majlis session proves the Islamic Republic of Iran’s support for the resistance movement in Palestine, he said.

Larijani stressed that the current situation calls on the Iranian nation to stand by the Palestinians and defend the aspirations of those innocent people.

Referring to the prevailing regional crises, he underlined the need for creating solidarity among Muslims.
