US must abandon Israeli pressure

A senior Iranian lawmaker says the US government must shift to an interactive policy from its current Israeli-favored confrontational stance if it wishes to have successful negotiations with Iran.

Chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy committee in the Iranian parliament, Alaeddin Boroujerdi was speaking to the parliamentary news agency over the ongoing nuclear talks in Vienna.

The senior parliamentarian said the Islamic Republic in previous rounds of negotiations has clearly stated its stance, adding that Iran’s position complies with the realities on the ground as well as the international regulations including the NPT.

The lawmaker said the US mush change its illogical position that has been adopted under the pressure of the Zionist regime.

The senior authority said the two sides may pass through the stage provided the US embraces the necessity.
