Shin Bet head: banish the likely-to-be-released captives

Head of the Israeli Shabak internal spy agency, Yoram Cohen says if, eventually, a fourth round of Palestinian prisoner releases takes place, the list of those to be released is set to include ten captives whose families live in the occupied West Bank – "and they are deemed to be too dangerous to be allowed to return to their homes by."

A report on the Israeli Channel Two said that the ten are part of the 26 veteran captives set to be released in the deal, according to Arutz Sheva.

Cohen intends to urge Zionist ministers to condition the release of those captives on their being sent to Gaza, or to an Arab country, and not allow them to return to the occupied Palestinian area.

In recent statements, Palestinian Authority chief Mahmoud Abbas has said that he will not accept a deal in which the captives are not allowed to return to the villages they lived in before their arrest.
