Palestinians weary of negotiations – Poll
Results of a poll conducted by the Qods Information Center shows that the stance of Palestinians regarding the current political trends and cooperation with Zionist regime has changed so that the majority of them has turned weary of negotiations with Israelis.
According to the poll, the rate of support for carrying martyrdom seeking operations against Zionist targets has increased, Aljazeera TV network reported.
The poll revealed that the popularity of Palestinian president Mahmood Abbas (Abu Mazen) has decreased from 18.3 to 11.7 percent while the Palestinians are 12 percent less satisfied by Abu Mazen's management.
Over 30 percent of those participated in the poll believed that the corruption in the illegal government of Salam Fayadd has increased.
Majority of Palestinian, nearly 79 % urged for halting negotiators in case the Zionist regime was adamant to keep settlement building.
The rate of Palestinian optimism to negotiations also fallen from 45 to 36 percent.
The poll which was carried simultaneously with fresh raids of Israeli regime to the west Bank and Gaza Strip also revealed that the number of those who support martyrdom seeking operation has increased from 44 percent in 2007 into 50.7 percent in April 2008.
27.4 percent of Palestinian polled believed that the third Intifada can be a suitable counterbalance against the Israeli regime.
Moreover 39.3 percent described rocket firing as a useful means.
