Hosseini condemns Zionists' merciless massacre of Gazans

IRI Foreign Ministry spokesman Sayyed Mohammad-Ali Hosseini on Friday condemned "merciless" massacre of innocent Gazans by the Israeli troops, calling it an outstanding evidence of the terrorist and inhumane nature of the Zionist Regime.

Hosseini, pointing to shocking scenes of tank movements in Gaza when defenseless people were out towards their work to earn a living, said international communities' silence and the US-West support for the crimes are all in contradiction with the human rights claims of the west.

He said the Zionist Regime has been hence emboldened to go on with its crimes in the case of the oppressed and innocent Palestinian nation.

He noted that Gaza events and the UN Security Council's inaction have made the world public opinion sorrowful and unhappy.

He asked Muslim states to launch wide-scale efforts to stop the Zionist Regime's criminal operations.
