Gaza siege claims 132nd victim
A 6-month old Palestinian baby has died of heart disease in the Gaza Strip due to lack of access to medicines and proper treatment, medics said Sunday.
Medical sources in the Gaza City said the baby was suffering from heart disease.
Omar Bashir Hamou joined the list of dead patients who could not cross the border for medical treatment, they said.
His death brings the number of dead patients banned to cross the border to 132 people.
The Palestinian officials are warning about more deaths of this kind in the Gaza Strip.
They warned that the patients who are inflicted with serious and chronic diseases may die due to a lack of medicines, while the occupying regime prevents them from leaving the city for receiving treatment.
The death of the Palestinian baby comes amid further threats by the Israeli occupying regime to keep its bloody siege of the area.
